Cristina Pérez Muñoz
LEAD THERAPIST
Cristina holds a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Addiction Treatment and Prevention, with advanced training in behavioural addictions, neurodegenerative diseases, gender-based violence, and social reintegration.
Throughout her career, she has worked with a wide range of individuals (from people facing homelessness to high-profile clients) treating complex cases such as dual diagnoses, gambling and non-substance addictions, ADHD, personality disorders, and trauma-related conditions. This diversity has given her a deeply human and holistic understanding of how addictions form and how true recovery begins.
Her therapeutic approach, grounded in cognitive-behavioural principles, focuses on practical action over theory. Each session becomes a space to act, reflect, and grow through simple, tangible changes that lead to real, lasting progress. Cristina believes recovery is not just about leaving addiction behind, but about understanding its roots and rebuilding life with balance, purpose, and connection.
Outside her clinical work, she is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and addiction. Her commitment to social education drew the attention of Hacienda Paradiso, where both she and the team recognised a shared vision: recovery must be compassionate, structured, and deeply human.
At Hacienda Paradiso, Cristina finds meaning in the union of professional care, supportive structure, and the natural surroundings: a setting that helps people slow down, feel safe again, and reconnect with themselves.
“Behind every addiction, there is a person who has been trying to survive with the tools they had. My mission is to help you find new paths, so you can stop just surviving and start truly enjoying your life.”
