    A new life I went to Hacienda Paradiso 18 months ago, after a long battle with addiction and an eating disorder that I had struggled with from a young age, which was affecting my attempts to stay clean and. sober. It was not my first time in rehab. From being picked up at the airport to saying goodbye on my last day, I was given a level of care, support, respect and guidance that I hadn't found anywhere before. Past experience, however, had taught me that putting down substances and completing my time in rehab was only the very beginning - staying clean once I left was what it was all about. And that is what I have done. Matt had the insight to suggest that I do some work around my eating disorder that I hadn't done before and that was a turning point in me dealing with my addictive behaviours as a whole. Since leaving the Hacienda (there were tears!), there have been ups and downs, because that is life, but I have followed the suggestions to the letter and used all the tools given to me by the Paradiso team and the result has not only been that I've stayed clean and sober. I'm healthier, happier and have been able to deal with life more calmly and with more dignity than I ever thought I could. I've kept up the simple daily habits that were instilled in me at the Hacienda and I regularly log onto the weekly zoom meetings and connect with the friends I made during my stay and other ex-clients, who have all become like my second family. I go to other recovery meetings where I live and actively do what I can to help others who are struggling and I learn something new about myself and about life every day. By putting my recovery first, being willing to use the support and guidance of Matt and others and practicing my program each day, I'm working again in a job I love, I'm a reliable, responsible, respected member of society again and I am the daughter, sister and aunty that my family deserve and that I've always wanted to be. Rehab isn't a quick fix. The hard work starts when you leave. But it is so worth it. I have a life now that I don't want to lose and I could not have got to where I am today without starting my journey at Hacienda Paradiso. I can't thank them enough.

    The place that saved my life Where to begin… to start I would recommend anyone to go there, it doesn’t matter if you’re an addict or not. Be sure, the Hacienda family will change your life! If you have any doubt, ask yourself the question if you’re totally happy with yourself, do you love the person you’ve become? And are you willing to do something about it. If you are willing and honest, you will notice that the person stepping out of the villa is someone totally different than the person who stepped in. For me, the addiction was easy to control after I became aware of who I really was and who I really wanted to become. They made me aware of my traits and my core values, and so much more. It’s not easy, you will have to put in a lot of effort to find everything out for yourself. But if you trust the family over there, you will get there and become happier than you’ve ever been before. I’ll always remember ❤️

    333 Days ago, the big change of my life … Dear reader, After I had reached the lowest point of my alcohol addiction, I fortunately received great support from a very good “team” of family and friends, partly because of their continued care I decided to find a rehab clinic in Europe. Eventually the choice fell on Villa Paradiso (the Hacienda) in Malaga. After telephone interviews and conversations with the owner and his team there, I was welcome and I decided to go there for a whole month in internal rehab therapy. I can wholeheartedly confirm that I was able to get my life out of danger and found my way back to a new chance in my life without addiction. The professionalism of the core team counselors, psychologist and doctor, but also the entire team of nurses, kitchen, housekeeping and security was taken care of, down to the finest detail for feeling secure. What great people! The surroundings and facilities outside the city of Malaga are beautiful. The Narcotics Anonymous 12 STEPS program is a great guideline in the process to not only sobriety but also a new way of life. With daily group and individual sessions/conversations, meditation, sports and weekly excursions they were able to change my “one foot in the grave” situation to stand on both feet again and give me a good healthy foundation for my second chance in life. Today I am exactly 333 days sober … 3 times my lucky number. Almost a full year now free from my addiction. My mind and body stronger and healthier! I can 100% recommend everyone to let Mathew and his team guide and help you to a better life without addiction. After leaving the clinic there is also a very good aftercare with a nice chat and zoom meetings global community. It has been the best investment in my life so far!     Life changing My experience with villa Paradiso is life changing. It’s been 2 years now since my treatment and my life has improved drastically.  They look for what works for every person individually which I liked very much. The after care is very good and the people in it feel like a family now.

    Highly Recommend Villa Paradiso My stay at Villa Paradiso has been nothing short of life-changing for me. Thanks to their incredible support and comprehensive program, I’ve been sober for close to two years now. Matt, Letty, and Sergio's dedication and genuine care made all the difference, providing me with the personalized tools I needed to not only get sober but to stay sober long-term. The skills I learned here have empowered me to rebuild my life with confidence and purpose. I can highly recommend Villa Paradiso to anyone struggling with addiction and serious about making a change in their life.  I am forever grateful for the new life they’ve helped me create!

    I was addicted for years and no rehab centre was able to help me until i came to villa paradiso. IM FINALLY CLEAN! Great place Great villa Great programme and Great people villa paradiso is a place of healing for everyone that has come here for help with their addictions. It’s a well put professional unit of staff, therapists, doctors who ensure people make the most of their second chance at life. I would recommend this treatment centre to anybody who is going through a tough time regarding their addiction. from my experience it's the only way to save your life

    Que dire à part merci infiniment, grâce a villa Paradisio, ça fait 3 ans que je vie ma plus belle vie, que j'avance step by step vers une meilleure version de moi même, cette expérience a été une délivrance, et ma permis de pouvoir concrétiser mes rêves loin de mes vieux démons

    I checked into Villa Paradiso in a total mess, it was tough but I got through it and it was the best experience of my life, the owner Chris and the therapist Matthew Idle personally helped me along with Martina the chef and everybody else, Thank you.
